After yoga training, Siobhan decided to expand her fitness knowledge and skills by studying Pilates with Pilates Seattle International. In 2006, she became a Certified Pilates Instructor. After receiving her certification, Siobhan taught Pilates at the Washington Athletic Club for many years.
In 2009 Siobhan traveled to Scottsdale, Arizona to study Fascia Stretch Therapy (FST) from pioneers Ann and Chris Fredrick of the Stretch To Win Institute.
She is has since completed all the FST levels and is a Certified Fascial Stretch Specialist - Medical, one of the few trained at that level in the State of Washington.
Siobhan received an AAS degree in Personal Training in June 2010. During this program, she mentored with fitness expert Tim Vagen. He assisted Siobhan in grasping the importance of functional movement and how to strength train for a balanced body, strong core and healthy spine.
To complete her knowledge of the body's soft tissue, Siobhan became a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) in 2012. Her massage methods including additional training in MFD (Myofascial Decompression - a form of cup therapy), Somassage, manual fascia release techniques are other tools she uses to assist people battling restrictive movement, reduction in pain and tightness.
In 2015 she traveled to Sarasota, FL to broadened her stretch therapy training skills by studying with Aaron Mattes, creator of Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) and owner of Stretching USA. She has completed both basic and advanced AIS training.
Today Siobhan merges all aspects of her diverse background in health, bodywork and fitness together to help her clients achieve their goals, move and feel better while enhancing their fitness potential and physical/mental well-being.
